BIOGRAPHY

 
Stephen Bulleigh concentrates his practice on general civil litigation with a particular focus on medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, personal injury, and wrongful death. Stephen also has experience in mortgage, foreclosure, and real estate matters. 
 
Stephen has represented local and national clients in all manner of civil litigation.  Notably, he assisted in successfully obtaining a summary judgment ruling in a personal injury and construction case which ruling he assisted in defending on appeal to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He has additionally worked as part of a team that obtained numerous summary judgment rulings in medical malpractice and nursing home litigation cases.  Further, Stephen participated in successfully arguing before an Oklahoma Supreme Court referee, and has participated in successfully obtaining favorable jury verdicts.
 
At the BULLEIGH LAW FIRM, Stephen continues to practice general civil litigation providing all manner of services to his clients including but not limited to drafting pleadings, engaging in extensive discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions practice, and representation at court for hearings and trial.
 
Since forming the BULLEIGH LAW FIRM, Stephen helps individuals with their debt problems by achieving a fresh start through filing bankruptcies on their behalf.  As the primary Bankruptcy Law contact with the firm, Stephen provides the citizens of the Northeast Oklahoma area with personalized debt relief and Bankruptcy protection that is individualized to the needs of each client.
 
In addition to general civil litigation and bankruptcy services, Stephen provides family law and adoption services, and estate planning services, providing assistance to individual clients in creating and maintaining valid wills and trusts.
 
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys coaching his children's athletic teams and generally spending time with his family.
